Charmaine Hughes leads the Retirement Plan Business Development Group for Transamerica. Her teams are responsible for strategic growth and key account management with Distribution Partners, TPAs, Investment Managers, Fiduciaries, and Consulting Firms.
Together they serve institutional partners, financial advisors, plan sponsors, and participants by implementing products, thought leadership, financial wellness solutions, and strategies focused on helping people save and invest wisely to live their best life and retire with peace of mind.
Charmaine is the executive sponsor for the Transamerica Retirement Elite Advisor Program, DCIO Partner Program, TPA Advisory Board, and Retirement Advisor Council. She represents Workplace Solutions as a contributing member of Transamerica’s task force for ESG & Sustainable Investing, North America.
Charmaine and her husband, Ken Lee, live in Lakewood Ranch, FL. They have two adult children and a new son-in law. Charmaine is involved with several charitable organizations and enjoys traveling, golf, wine-tasting, good books, cooking, beach days, hosting game night, and entertaining friends & family with Ken.
